Enter into the world of fungi with Dartmoor's Daughter, Devon's top mycologist Dr Christian Taylor, and Daniel Thompson-Mills at Steward Community Woodland. Dartmoor's Daughter will lead us on a walk through the woods where you will learn how to identify edible and other fungi and find out all about this marvellous kingdom of nature. And for a delicious treat, we will fry up any edible mushrooms we find to accompany our tea.
Dr Christian Taylor is a biologist, entomologist and mycologist. He studied for his doctoral thesis on the ecological relationships between insects and fungi. Christian teaches courses on environmental science and ecosystems at The Open University, biology A-level, and International Baccalaureate at Plymouth College.
