tristan wild signs.jpg

Unlock the ancient skill of sensing direction from stars and plants. Forecast weather from woodland sounds. And predict the next action of an animal from its body language. Build your outdoor awareness and expert intuition by noticing certain patterns, signs and clues. This practical, outdoors walking workshop will help you to learn the keys to your ‘sixth sense’.

'I promise you will feel more in tune with the world around after...Wild Signs and Star Paths’ Royal Institute of Navigation

Dartmoor’s Daughter’s will lead the walk and her experiential approach to feeling and sensing our way through landscapes will be complemented by Tristan Gooley's talk along the way. He aims to enrich journeys and connect with the world around us. He is the author of award-winning and bestselling books covering natural navigation including The Natural Navigator; The Walker’s Guide to Outdoor Clues & Signs; and How to Read Water. He has written for the Sunday Times, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, BBC and many magazines. And has featured in TV and radio programmes in the UK and internationally.

(This outdoors workshop is designed to complement Tristan’s indoor talk starting at 7pm at the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown. For bookings and further information please register here.)
