Beginnings: Reaping Stories and Making Connections. A Lammas Mindfulness & Storytelling Walk to Ryders Rings
led by Dartmoor’s Daughter: Emma Cunis.
Thursday 1st August 10:30- 5pm

Feel your senses come alive and daily stresses melt away as we walk from the beautiful Bala Brook Retreat Centre to Ryders Rings. This is one of the largest Bronze Age villages with a double pound containing 34 ruined hut circles with stunning views all around. In conjunction with international trainer and storyteller Steph Bradley, this walk is offered as part of a week-long immersive course exploring well being and eco tourism in Devon.

Join us to immerse yourself in the ancient and wild beauty of this landscape and its ancient inhabitants.

Meeting Point: Bala Brook Retreat Centre Car Park, TQ10 9ED, 10.15 for a 10.30am departure.

Return time: 5pm

Please wear: Layers for hot and/or cold and wet weather, socks and walking boots (there are ticks on Dartmoor), a hat for sun and/or rain.

Bring: Sun protection cream, camera, notepad and pencil, a small rucksack, a packed lunch and water bottle, wind and waterproof raincoat and trousers.

Cost: £20 walk only, £40 including a scrumptious 2 course vegetarian supper and an evening of storytelling with Steph Bradley recounting the Tale of Transition at Bala Brook at 7pm.
