Pi Singles Dartmoor Walk around Widecombe - for Single Outdoors-Lovers

Join Dartmoor’s Daughter, the Pi Society and like-minded singles for a stunning morning's walk up and along the magnificent ridge of tors (Bonehill, Bel, Chinkwell, and Honeybags) and the ancient Saxon road above Widecombe, followed by lunch together at The Old Inn.


Tickets

Cost: £15 for Pi Society non-members and £10 for members. Cost of drinks and dinner is not included and should be paid directly to The Old Inn.

Non-members are welcome to book this event and give Pi Society a try! Pi Society membership starts with Social Membership at just £20 per month.

Time: 9.45am for a 10am start. Lunch at 1.30pm.

Lunch: The Old Inn

Meeting location: The granite gateposts next to the 20% gradient road sign at Bonehill Rocks carpark above
Widecombe-in-the-moor. There are two car parks at Bonehill Rocks - this is the upper one on the north side of the tor). Map Grid Reference: SX731774. Drive towards Widecombe and, from the Ashburton direction, turn right (no signpost) immediately next to the small river crossing that is before reaching the village. TQ13 7TD is the nearest postcode but don't rely on a sat nav to get you to the exact meeting place.
Please car share where possible.

Level: Moderate, approximately 3 miles or 5km on open moorland with one steep incline and descent.

What to bring/wear: Sturdy hiking boots, warm layer, waterproof jacket and trousers (whatever the forecast), drinking water, snacks and walking poles if you use them.

Cancellation policy: The event will go ahead come rain or shine. Sorry no refunds if you’re unable to attend.

Photos: We like to take photographs to share with you after the walk and to use in promotional materials such as websites, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Please let us know if you prefer not to be in photos.
