Spring Wild Foods Walk

Walking from Okehampton train station, this lovely route takes in a section of the Granite Way as well as beautiful woodland and views. Along the way, we will learn how to ID edible plants, leaves, and flowers as well as how to prepare them for eating. This walk is ideal for foraging beginners.

LEVEL: MODERATE - approximately 2.5 miles on woodland, field and tarmac paths.

Route is dependent on weather conditions and group pace.

LOCATION: Okehampton Train Station.

National Grid Reference: SX 59215 94443

Driving directions/any final details will be emailed approximately a week before the walk; please remember to check your junk email folder.

Please car share where possible. Parking is limited on Dartmoor and sharing lessens our impact on the environment, thank you.
