Where to meet: Grassy carpark on the right hand side of the lane that leads up to Kestor and Batworthy corner (not the carpark at the end of the road over Batworthy bridge). Map Reference is SX662862. The nearest postcode for satnav is TQ13 8EN but don’t rely on it to get you to the exact spot!

Level: 3 out of 5 - There are some paths but you must be comfortable walking 4-5 miles across open moorland and crossing streams and rivers. And, if you wish to take a dip, you must be able to swim. Any children must be accompanied by an adult.
What to bring: Sturdy walking boots, warm layers, sunscreen, waterproofs (no matter the weather forecast), swimsuit & towel, lunch and drinks.
Cancellation: This walk will go ahead come rain or shine (swimming in the rain can be enlivening!). Sorry no refunds if you are unable to attend.
