Gentle Woodland Walk

Designed for people with ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, or chronic pain, we will walk together at a gentle pace following the River Erme through beautiful woodland. Stopping occasionally to rest along the way, we will participate in a short guided meditation, and receive nature-connection invitations to help soothe body, mind, and spirit.

LEVEL: MODERATE - approximately 3.5km/2.5miles. The beginning and end sections of the walk are along easy-going gravel paths. The middle section includes a short hill and then some rough and occasionally wet ground. Get in touch if you want to discuss if this walk is for you info@dartmoorsdaughter.com

Route is dependent on weather conditions and group pace.

LOCATION: Roadside parking at the top of Station Road, just below the railway viaduct, Ivybridge.

National Grid Reference: SX63543 56896

What3Words App reference: ///shield.collides.jazzy

Driving directions/any final details will be emailed approximately a week before the walk; please remember to check your junk email folder.

Please car share where possible. Parking is limited on Dartmoor and sharing lessens our impact on the environment, thank you.

Tickets

FEE: £15 per adult + booking fee. Group size is limited so pre-booking is essential.

CANCELLATION: The event will go ahead come rain or shine. We do not offer refunds. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the date of the walk or experience we will send you a credit note to use within 1 year minus a £5 admin fee and the £2 booking fee.  We do not transfer tickets so in this instance you can use your credit note to rebook with us.

If you cancel within 4 weeks of the date of a walk or experience we recommend that you try to resell/pass on your ticket yourself. If you resell/pass on please let us know who will be attending in your place.

We have seen a significant number of cancellations over the past few years, and as a very small organisation we have suffered and therefore as a consequence we now have a strict no refund policy - we do hope you understand and will continue to support us.
