navigation training.jpg

This walking workshop is aimed at Dartmoor 365'ers attending the D365 Cream Tea at Two Bridges in the afternoon. Want a confidence boost to explore new places? Memories of how to use a map and compass faded? Join this practical and hands-on walking workshop to learn (or refresh your memory) how to use a map and compass, as well as an opportunity to discover other ways to feel your way through the landscape e.g.: natural navigation.

We will cover D'365 squares - M4, N4, and N5.

'I enjoyed being out in nature on a part of the Moor I'd not explored before; learning to use a compass and the way this was taught, the pace was great; a lovely group to share this with; time taken to tune in at the start...Can't wait for the next one!' Lynne
