Following in the footsteps of Dartmoor ancestors, we will walk an ancient track to the remote and extraordinary Cut Hill. Here there is a Neolithic stone row, recently excavated site of a burial chamber, and stunning views on a clear day. Along the way, there will be periods of silence as well as opportunities to learn about life on the moor from thousands of years ago up to the present day including prehistoric and industrial archeology, farming, peat restoration, flora and fauna. And there maybe time for a quick dip in the river if conditions are suitable.
