Feel daily stresses melt away and senses come alive as we walk silently together along ancient tracks, cross sinuous copper-gold coloured streams on high open moorland, journey past old stones and bones, and watch the clouds shapeshifting above us. Every step brings us closer to appreciating the beauty, history, and magic of this living, working landscape.
LEVEL: MODERATE. Approximately 8 kilometres or 5 miles on open and hilly moorland, uneven grassy paths, and several stream crossings. We will be walking in silence, with occasional sit-spots also in silence.
(Route is dependent on weather conditions and group pace).
LOCATION: Park just off the track leading to Buttern Farm, Gidleigh
National Grid Reference: SX 658 895

Driving directions/any final details will be emailed approximately a week before the walk; please remember to check your junk email folder.
Please car share where possible. Parking is limited on Dartmoor and sharing lessens our impact on the environment. Thank you.
