Dartmoor Stone Circles - Virtual Tour

stone circle 5.png

Join us for a virtual walk through Dartmoor stone circles. There are 15 (known) stone circles on Dartmoor, and several other possibilities that are currently being investigated. They often form part of a larger ceremonial complex that includes stone rows, burial chambers, and standing stones. Taking an archaeological as well as phenomenological approach, we will journey together through this stunning landscape, and explore the various theories about their ancient purpose and placement. We’re interested to hear your ideas too!
