Join us for a fascinating morning exploration of the history of sheep and importance of the wool industry through the ages on Dartmoor. Walking from Dunnabridge, we will enjoy a short circular walk to Laughter Tor and prehistoric stone row whilst also exploring the 'sheep measure’ and various plants, lichens and other ingredients that were used by our ancestors to produce natural dyes for wool.
This walk is organised as part of the exhibition ‘Dyeing on Dartmoor’ at The Museum of Dartmoor Life in Okehampton, and is funded by the Royal Society.

LEVEL: Easy - the walk is approximately 4.5km/2.7miles in open and hilly moorland terrain (Route is dependent on weather conditions and group pace).
